Upgraded Caster Kits # 13205-001 for T-Series SteelFrame Cabinet System Adds 3” to cabinet height, swivel and lock, supports up to 2,000 lbs Ship directly from manufacturer at buyer's cost. Freight to be advised. Rack-mount computer and data storage equipment is becoming more compact. The result is that more equipment is placed in each cabinet. Consequently, the cabinet must support more weight. CPI has improved the load bearing capability of M-Series MegaFrame® Cabinet System, C-Series SlimFrame™ Cabinet System and T-Series SteelFrame Cabinet System so that each will support 2,000 pounds of equipment. The corresponding Caster Kits have also been upgraded to support the additional load. Use casters when space is limited. Casters allow the cabinet to be placed against the wall when not in service. In labs and data centers, casters allow easy reconfiguration of floor space. Casters must be added to cabinets before populating the cabinet with equipment. Upgraded Caster Kits are intended for use on new cabinets manufactured on or after July 1, 2004, and should not be used on cabinets manufactured before this date. Upgraded Caster Kits include four corner gussets/reinforcement plates, four locking full-swivel 3" diameter casters, and installation hardware. Note that casters will add 3" of height to the cabinet. Retractable Stabilizer Kit should also be used when cabinets store rack-mount computer and data storage equipment.
