The 2-port version comes with a blank filler to cover and protect one unused opening. The 4- and 6-port housings are sized to completely cover a single-gang NEMA wallbox opening, while the 12-port fits over a single- or dual-gang NEMA box opening. Housings contain knockouts to accommodate raceway and cable entry, with built-in strain relief to assure undisturbed connections, and easy cover latches allow for easy adds, moves and changes. All housings can be mounted with screws or adhesive mounting tape (both provided), or with magnets or modular furniture brackets (sold separately). Identify ports and stations by using ample space next to each port or the designation window. All housings are UL Listed and compliant with NEC Article 800. Typical Specification: Surface Mount Housings shall be a high-density low profile design with field-configurable port (s), snap-lock cover, and cable knockout on back. Housing cover shall have raceway knockout for bottom or rear entry. Base shall include tie-wrap anchor point at all cable entrances. The housing shall be mountable with screws or tape. The cover shall provide the option of securing it to the base with a screw that is hidden under the outlet identification window. Must be constructed of high-impact fire-retardant plastic rated UL 94V-0, and be cULus Listed and compliant with TIA/EIA-568-B specifications.
