The unique 4x4 Breakout Module from Leviton is a telephone distribution module that features six eight-position RJ-45 voice grade connectors, permitting you to divide an incoming four-line telephone connection into four individual lines for use on one- or two-line output connectors. Designed for 568A wiring sequenced systems, the 4x4 module can be placed anywhere, eliminates the need for wiring additional wallplates, and provides easy plug-and-play access to all incoming lines. A pass-through connector is provided to allow all four lines access to another device.

Description
The Leviton Voice & Data Division 4x4 BreakoutModule distributes an incoming (T568A) four-linetelephone connection into individual lines for useon one- or two-line output connectors. A pass-through connector, labeled "OUT" on the module, isprovided to allow all four lines access to otherequipment.
The 4x4 Breakout Module consists of six, eight-position RJ-45 voice grade connectors, embossedwith identifiers on the front. Connector one islabeled "IN", the second connector "OUT", and theremaining four breakout connectors are labeled"L1,L2", "L2,L1", "L3,L4" and "L4,L3".
The first number of each pair is the primary lineconnected. The second number is used only in thecase of a two-line phone hook-up, and indicatespair two, or the secondary pair.
To Use This Module
- Plug one end of the provided patch cord into awall connector.
- Plug the other end of the patch cord into theconnector labeled "IN" on the module.
- Choose the device you wish to use (e.g., telephone, fax, modem) and plug it into one ofthe four output connectors on the module.

If you want your two-line phone on linesone and two, your fax on line three, andyour modem on line four, plug yourphone into the L1,L2 connector
