D-Link announces another addition to the D-Link AirPlus G series of wireless networking products delivering high speed transfer rates of up to 54 Mbps – the DWL-G810 Wireless Bridge.

The DWL-G810 converts virtually any Ethernet-based device—set-top box, game console, printer, laptop, or even desktop—into a wireless network device. By adding the DWL-G810 to your network, printer access and data file transferring from PC to PC can be managed wirelessly without the hassle of stringing cable wires through walls and along ceilings. The DWL-G810 also brings the added bonus for game-lovers: gamers can join multiple-player video games with others on the Internet using a high-speed broadband connection.

The DWL-G810 also features 128-bit WEP encryption and *Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) offerings to increase levels of data protection for your existing network. With the provided level of security, unauthorized individuals will not be able to access your network unless granted permission.

Whether running on Windows, Macintosh, or Linux, as long as your personal computer’s operating system is Ethernet-based, the DWL-G810 requires no software installation and zero-configuration for drivers giving a true Plug-and-Play experience. The DWL-G810 enables users to quickly connect to other DLink Air, AirPlus or other 802.11b-compliant devices.
