Balun Notes:

• Wiring: Use Cat5 or Cat6, straight-through, not crossover type, Solid or Stranded cable.
• Usage near high-voltage wires may result in interference with the video signal. Use caution when wiring near high-powered devices.
• Baluns are not weatherproof, do not expose to moisture.

Balun Wiring Instructions:

• Insert one Cat5 or Cat6 wire into each terminal block. Make sure the balun on the other side has the same wiring order. Check the wire color to confirm. Each Cat5 cable can carry the wiring for multiple baluns. The 4 pairs of wires per Cat5 cable can support up to 4 baluns. If using more than 4 baluns, an additional Cat5 cable will be needed.
